Part Two - Part Three - Part Four - Part Five - Part Six

i made this cardigan for LYDIA for her birthday, its just a regular cardigan with a bow detail in the back. hope she likes it! next i really want to make a cardigan with fringe in the back, but im not too sure if id wear it, so we'll see...

ps. sorry for the horrible pictures, i was in a rush

life as we know it

the selby

my life has become so chaotic lately; tests, money, first client, pressure, and the evolution of elixe. everything is just hitting me at once, and it just feels strange. im going to focus on school for a while, and give it everything ive got, only 25 more days till im off to the dominican! thank god.

So i studded this shirt for alex a while ago to wear to his show. i spray painted the studs and then dabbed them a bit for a grungy-er look. here it is at the show

i spy ELIXE cardigan #1 ;)

i need to learn to knit, like now. rodarte and sasha is too perfect.

VOGUE paris

favorite, before balmainia and that amazing viktor and rolf teeshirt.

Just finished this cardigan! i really like the oversized hood, but it looks nicer down than up(actually wearing the hood). i know it looks really long in the picture but its actually a nice length, i might shorten it in the summer. we'll see i guess. im also contemplating whether or not i should add a scarf to it, just to add some interest in the front. anyways, hope you like it!

ELIXE cardigan #2.

Yesterday i made my very first cardigan! it has a painter smock vibe and a built in scarf that can be used to create so many different shapes, its reallly cool, if i do say so myself. Anyways my first one i gave to alex, the only difference is that he doesnt have the scarf. Theyre made out of this really soft cottom/jersey, which really reminds me of complexgeometries and pleasure principle's stuff. stay tuned for moreeee

is it moving or not?

twilight prom

teen vogue

this is the perfect example of so bad yet so good. if you know me, you'll be familiar with the fact that im not the biggest fan of twilight but this editorial is so well done! i love that they only used it as an inspiration, and didnt go find the closest rob patz and whats her face look alike. the only thing is that i wish people had dressed like this at my prom! haha

on a side note; tomorrow/ today is a really big day for me and a big change is going to happen, but all for the best! Wish me luck!

224-word palindrome

hedi slimane

"Dammit I'm Mad"

Dammit I’m mad.
Evil is a deed as I live.
God, am I reviled? I rise, my bed on a sun, I melt.
To be not one man emanating is sad. I piss.
Alas, it is so late. Who stops to help?
Man, it is hot. I’m in it. I tell.
I am not a devil. I level “Mad Dog”.
Ah, say burning is, as a deified gulp,
In my halo of a mired rum tin.
I erase many men. Oh, to be man, a sin.
Is evil in a clam? In a trap?
No. It is open. On it I was stuck.
Rats peed on hope. Elsewhere dips a web.
Be still if I fill its ebb.
Ew, a spider… eh?
We sleep. Oh no!
Deep, stark cuts saw it in one position.
Part animal, can I live? Sin is a name.
Both, one… my names are in it.
Murder? I’m a fool.
A hymn I plug, deified as a sign in ruby ash,
A Goddam level I lived at.
On mail let it in. I’m it.
Oh, sit in ample hot spots. Oh wet!
A loss it is alas (sip). I’d assign it a name.
Name not one bottle minus an ode by me:
“Sir, I deliver. I’m a dog”
Evil is a deed as I live.
Dammit I’m mad.

i wish i had enough talent and time to create something like this.
totally insane.

so i found this amazing DIY balmain jacket from Le fashion, and i need to find the perfect fitting blazer in order to make it. Which is going to be such a challenge, ill probably end up buying the smallest one i find and tailoring it myself. In other news, I just purchased a dress form and i cant wait for it to arrive! Im already planning to make a yohji yamamoto inspired cardigan, and my very first pattern followed jersey t-shirts(for summer!) March break is in 4 days and so keep checking back to see what i come up with! For now, i leave you with some things i've already made;

"aurelie" pleated pocket change purse

"joanna" bow clutch

"steph" hobo bag

need summer now.
