If you're in Montreal this weekend, make sure you're at Indecent Exposure's Im(PROM)tu!
For those of you that had a horrible prom experience, now's your chance to relive it. I personally had a great time at my prom, though I wish I would of worn something different (boring black suit, blue tie combo -_-). ANYWAYS, come wearing prom get-ups from any era (I strongly support the velvet-covered, puffy sleeves, and pure awesomeness that were 80's prom dresses).

I got streetstyle-d by Clin D'oeil's Lollita and finally the picture's up!

She wrote such a nice bio about my outfit too
(sorry to those who don't speak french, i'm way too lazy to translate it):
Du bonnet aux Doc Martens usés, en passant par le pull marine, le carrot pant beige et le ras-le-cou multichaîne, j’aime tout de ce look qui lui va comme un gant! Avez-vous remarqué la lanière de l’appareil-photo… en fait, c’est la bandoulière de son sac Louis Vuitton. Quelle excellente idée!

I've been really inspired by German artist Gerhard Richter's overpainted photographs lately (Some date back from 1986). A concept so simple, yet i love the way Richter uses paint and texture to bring a literal extra layer of emotion to the story of the photo. Australian designer Josh Goot (more on him later) recently used Richter's overpainted photographs as inspiration for his prints in his new spring 2011/12 collection.
